YES!
On March 14, 2022, in the village of Gorenka, the car of a Fox News film crew came under artillery fire. Alexandra Kuvshinova, along with her colleague Pierre Zakzhewski, were killed by the Russian army. Sasha was only 24 years old.
The aggressor seeks to wipe out any mention of his crimes from the face of the earth. Therefore, they kill all possible witnesses - military, civilians and journalists.
If Alexandra had returned that day from Gorenka, she could have told the world about the fear in the eyes of people because of the constant artillery and mortar attacks.
She could bring the truth about the cruel Russian terror of the civilian population in the village, where there are no strategic objects. As in the picturesque Gorenka, the entire infrastructure was destroyed by "Hails", whole streets were destroyed, and cars were burned. Where seven people died under shelling. 11 were seriously wounded.
After the region's liberation from Russian troops, she would show how the 10,000 populated Gorenka was almost empty.
Sasha's story about this war could be one of those that would make the world community more actively resist the aggressor and stop the war.
The killings and shootings of media workers are a gross violation of international law. The enemy can turn a blind eye to laws, but he cannot close the eyes of the world to crimes. After all, honouring the memory of those who died for the truth, we will continue to tell their immortal stories.
